Hi, nice to meet you
I’m Dvir Caspi, a third year Clinical Psychology Resident (license no. 27-182678). Alongside my public practice at the Re’ut Mental Health Clinic, I provide therapy in a private clinic in Modi’in and online.
Whether in the public or private sector, I consider it a great privilege – one of the greatest there is – to accompany clients on their personal journeys.
Reaching out for therapy requires courage. I believe in the ability of a therapeutic relationship based on warmth, trust, and a lot of curiosity to help you look toward your challenges and undergo a meaningful process of growth.

My Therapeutic Approach
My therapeutic approach is integrative, from the word integration. The integration is between different treatment methods, in a way that strives to connect traditional methods with new ones and, in general, between mental and physical health.
In more professional terminology, I integrate Psychodynamic, Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT), Dialectical (DBT), and Buddhist approaches. Each of these methods is a rich and wide world of content in its own right – the aspiration to combine them in a way that suits you, your needs, and your personal pace is my therapeutic mission.
We will begin with several introductory sessions in which I will learn about your current struggles and personal background. This is followed by a feedback session where we coordinate expectations regarding the style and duration of treatment and set out on our way.
Honoring the autonomy and personal agency of my clients is a fundamental principle of my practice.
Challenges We Can Work on Together
- Anxiety, panic attacks, specific phobias, social anxiety, chronic stress, and more.
- Low mood and depression.
- PTSD
- OCD and related disorders. The treatment includes an additional weekly session dedicated to practicing the skills we cover throughout the treatment.
- Pain disorders, including chronic pain, fibromyalgia, and more.
- ADHD
- Sleep difficulties, most notably insomnia.
- Difficulties in decision making.
- Emotional eating.
- Coping with Life Itself. With everything there is and isn’t, with what we achieved and with what we lost. With the complexities, challenges, and dilemmas along the way. With our relationships with others (and our relationship with ourselves). With questions of identity and self-worth, and with periods of crisis.
One can mistakenly think that therapy is only for those diagnosed with one disorder or another and that the only goal is to treat that disorder. But treatment is first and foremost a ground for deep and honest observation of our lives together with another person. Alongside professional treatment for various struggles, there is a larger goal (and gift) – the personal and interpersonal development of the individual.
